DC Reunion

Dinner Club Weekend Getaway :)
A group of my teacher girlfriends & I started a couples dinner club when I was just a couple months pregnant. We would meet once a month at some one's house and have dinner and hang out. It was 6 couples and we always had a blast! We started out by doing theme dinners and sending out fun invitations, like a Luau, Murder Mystery Dinner, Fiesta, etc. Fast forward two years later and 5 little babies are born with 2 more on the way. I also want to add that ALL of the 5 babies are ADORABLE LITTLE GIRLS: Grace, Kinley, Ava, Kalie, and Macy. Isn't that crazy that we all have had girls?? But, we do have 1 little boy arriving in November and 1 more little girl arriving in October. So, now the dinner club that started with 12 is now going to be 19!! Table for 12 and 7 high chairs please :) Unfortunately, two of the couples have moved away. So, last Father's Day, two of us went together and rented a cabin for the weekend in Oklahoma so the boys could fish and the girls could hang out. We had a great time together. Macy and Kinley got to play together while Heather and I got to catch up :) This year we tried to pick a weekend that we all could go because we don't get to see each other as much anymore. We are leaving tomorrow morning for Oklahoma! We are so excited to hang out with everyone and visit with all the little girlies :) Once again, the boys will be fishing while the girls are catching up :) Girl time with some of my favorite girls...can't wait!!

...was our wedding day! It is so hard to believe that six years have passed since this very special day. Travis & I had a very special wedding and had SO much fun celebrating with family and friends. I posted some of my favorite pictures from that day below. Sorry the quality is poor on some of them...they are copies of copies. We have been so blessed in our marriage and have made many happy memories and look forward to many more!
Getting off our trolley and going into our reception.

I love the funky lighting of this picture.

Father's Day Weekend

Macy and her Daddy on Father's Day

Daddy opening up his "DAD" pen holder we made.

Macy helping Daddy unwrap his Wii! I finally found one...woohoo! It was so hard to track one down. I don't how it is everywhere else, but here they are EXTREMELY hard to find. I was on the phone every day calling my list of stores to see if they got any in.
Needless to say Daddy has played LOTS since he openend it :)

Macy with Pops and Daddy at lunch.

We went to Color Me Mine so Macy could paint Daddy and Pops an ice cream bowl for Father's Day. They turned out cute. Macy had fun painting them!

I wrote Daddy's Ice Cream Bowl on the front and we put her handprint in the inside of the bowl.

Daddy wanted to do some shopping at Bass Pro Shops before our weekend trip to Oklahoma next weekend. So, I thought it would be so fun to eat at The Rainforest Cafe which is nearby....not so much! Macy was terrified! She wouldn't even sit in her highchair....she sat on Daddy's lap the whole lunch. I guess it is kind of scary for a 2 year old. All the animals make noise and the lights go off and it thunders and rains. I just thought she would like checking out all the animals...maybe next year she'll like it better :)

We had a great weekend! They just go by way too fast!

Summer Fun!

Our summer has been filled with lots of fun so far! We have been so busy since we got home from our trip I haven't had time to post. So in an attempt to catch up, here is our past week and a half. I love summertime! Travis, Macy, and I have been having a blast playing outside every chance we get. Macy loves to be outside ALL the time!
We had a BBQ with the Fish Family at their house. Macy had tons of fun playing with her Jack :)

She LOVED his bubbles!

Eating some yummy BBQ

Whenever Jackson took a drink of juice, Macy had to take a drink of juice...

monkey see, monkey do! We had a great time hanging out with the Fish Fam!

We visited the Spray Park...Macy was a little unsure at first. We'll definitely be revisiting this over the hot summer. We have 2 spray parks in our city that are so cute for the kiddos to run around in and play!

Macy helping Daddy water our flowers. She LOVES to play in the water...she gets soaked every night!

Travis's company had a family picnic at a huge ranch about an hour away. It was a lot of fun. They had pony rides, hay rides, train rides, a fire truck for the kiddos to check out, face painting, and the list goes on. This was Macy's first pony ride. She picked the pink pony to ride :) Maybe she thought they should match. But, once they started moving she wanted off quickly!

Macy's very cool bug net and bug cage from Jackson's Birthday party! We celebrated Jackson's 2nd birthday! It was a backyard bug bash! It was super cute...everything was buggy :)
