First Trip to the Dentist

Macy recently visited the dentist for the first time for her three year appointment. She did great! She was a little apprehensive about laying on her back in the big girl chair, but the dentist let me sit beside her and hold her hand. It was a fun place...lots of games, books, and toys! She got stickers and fun prizes for being a big girl which she loved! She did the whole thing...x-rays, cleaning, and flouride. Here are some pics from her appointment. :) Checking out the cool games while waiting for her appointment.

She got to wear princess glasses while the dentist cleaned her teeth and used the bright light to look at her teeth. Can you tell by the picture she didn't like the taste of the toothpaste...LOL! She told the dentist, "I really don't like your toothpaste. I like the Dora kind :)"

Showing off her sparkly whites :)

Big Chef / Little Chef

The Little Chef Macy and I recently attended a Big Chef / Little Chef Class at Young Chef's Academy. It was so fun!!! It was a mommy and me class for toddlers. The class is designed for toddlers to start to learn culinary skills and nutrition. The kiddos got to make everything with the help of their mommies while the teacher taught them fun tricks to use in the kitchen.
We made yummy crepe cups and fruit salad.

Macy & Her Friend Cami

Macy's turn at mixing the crepe batter.

Jackson's turn.

The kids got to stand up and watch the crepes cooking.

The mommies help mixing the crepe fillings.

Pouring the filling inside the crepe cups.

Cutting apples for fruit salad with this cool toddler cutter. We had to buy one of these fun things so Macy could use it at home, too.

Taking the stem off of a strawberry with this neat straw trick that we learned.

Our friends, Cami and Kelsey, enjoying their yummy cooking.

Jackson & Macy digging in :)

Macy had so much fun!

Big Sister Class

Macy ready for her Big Sister Class to start! We took it at the hospital where I'm going to deliver. She had a blast! She had fun learning all about what to expect when mommy has baby sister. The teacher talked to the kids about what toys are safe to play with baby, how baby can't eat anything except milk, and all kinds of things. They made it really age appropriate...it was cute.

Macy & Daddy making a special "I Love Baby Sister" picture frame to put inside the baby's bassinet at the hospital.

Storytime :)

Learning about baby's diapers and how to wrap baby up in a blanket.

Getting some extra help from Daddy.

Very proud of herself :)

We then took a tour of the hospital. The kids got to chose whether or not to carry their baby on the tour. Macy carried the baby on the entire tour. She loved it.

Daddy & Macy on the hospital tour. This is my favorite part of the hospital where all the beautiful murals are.

Learning all about where mommy will be while she is at the hospital.

Proud of her Big Sister Certificate

Macy got to go pick out Big Sister Books at the bookstore after class and then we went to a fun lunch. It was a special day for us!
