Macy had a wonderful birthday weekend!
It was filled with lots of fun spending time with family and friends! It started Friday night with her Grandma Deb flying in from Pennsylvania to help celebrate her birthday. On Thursday and Friday, I was very busy baking and decorating all the cookies for the favors and the cookie bouquet. It took me a lot longer than what I had thought it would, but they turned out pretty cute. On Saturday, Macy had her birthday party at My Gym with all her little friends. We had a GREAT time!! The teachers did an awesome job of keeping the kiddos entertained and I think all of them had fun! They sang songs, played the parachute game, had bee rides, bubbles, roller coaster rides, and Macy even got a motorcycle ride :) While we sang Happy Birthday to Macy she was in the bee swinging to the music. After blowing out her candles with Mommy, everyone dove into their ice cream cone cupcakes. Macy really enjoyed hers :) I think they turned out cute! After the birthday party, we all went to eat at Kobe Japanese Steak House. It was yummy! It was Macy's first visit to a Japanese restaurant. She was a little unsure about the chefs at first, but then enjoyed their entertainment. On Sunday, which was Mother's Day, we enjoyed our usual breakfast at IHOP. We go there almost every Sunday. Macy LOVES Pancake Sundays :) After that, we had my family over to open Macy's presents and for ice cream cake. Macy got a new playhouse for outside from Gigi and Pops. Meghan got her a basketball hoop to play outside. Hadley made her a really neat art container filled with tons of art supplies. Her Grandma Deb is getting her swim lessons for this summer. She got LOTS of fun goodies! We played outside all Sunday afternoon and night with all her new toys. On Monday, Macy's actual Birthday, we went to gym class. She had a BLAST as usual! Then, we met Daddy at Gatti Town for some more fun! After eating pizza, riding rides, and playing games, we headed home for birthday cake and presents from Mommy and Daddy. We got her books, clothes, and of course more toys! I also made her some "bling" shoes you can check out in the slide show :) We had a WONDERFUL weekend filled with friends and family.
Thank you to everyone who shared in her second birthday with us and helped make it so special!

Wow! Looks like Macy had a great birthday! I believe I'm beginning to see alittle more of Travis in Macy's smile. When I saw one of the pictures pop up... the expression on Macys face made me think...oh my gosh she looks like her Grandma Deb when she was little.
Keep the pictues coming!
Hope to see you all soon.
