Our Disney Cruise

Drumroll please....here is Part 1 of our Cruise Pictures!!
We had so much fun!!! It was a magical vacation for our family that we will always remember. ENJOY!! Our Ship - The Disney Magic

Macy arriving at the Orlando airport Friday morning!!

Hanging out by the pool at our hotel in Cape Canaveral the day before our cruise.

Saturday Morning - Ready to go - Leaving our hotel for Port Canaveral!!
Grandma Deb got her Mickey crocs...too cute!

All Aboard...Macy ready to get on board the Disney Magic!
Macy getting her ID Badge and wristband for the cruise. All the children had to register and get a wristband and all the parents got a pager to keep with them during the cruise. The wristband had all her information on it plus our pager number if someone would have needed to page us during the cruise. Thankfully, we didn't have to use it, but it was a great safety tool.

Checking out our stateroom! Macy's new "home" for the week as she called it :)

Our fun present that was awaiting us in our room.

Daddy & Macy ready for the mandatory Boat Drill before Port Departure. We had to wear our life jackets and follow the map to our special location on the boat and go over all the safety drills.

BON VOYAGE...ADVENTURES AWAY PARTY - Port Departure Saturday afternoon!

More of the Adventures Away Party on Deck 9 - where the giant "Ariel" view television was! It was very cool...they showed Disney movies on it during the day for the kids and at night they had all the football games and bowl games on for the parents! It was great sitting outside feeling the ocean breeze watching football on the big screen at night.

Dancing away! It's Magic Time as Disney says :)

Daddy & Macy Leaving Port Canaveral.

Smoke Stack of Disney Magic.

Picture from Deck 10 (There were 11 decks total) of the Aerial View TV during the Adventures Away Party.

Macy at Dinner the first night - The Parrot's Cay Restaurant. We had an island dinner theme. Every night our waiter would pour Macy's ketchup in the shape of Mickey Mouse :) He treated Macy like a princess...we had incredible service everywhere on the boat! Every night we had a different themed dinner that rotated between the 3 main dinner restaurants. The dinners were absolutely DELICIOUS!!

Excited for the first show to begin! Every night after dinner, they had a live stage show. It was very similar to what you see on Broadway. The shows were great! Macy had never sat through anything like that before so I was a little worried since they were about 90 minutes...but they kept her attention the whole time. She LOVED them!!

The first show, "Welcome Aboard! Let the Magic Begin!"

Inside Macy's crib the first night...she couldn't believe someone left her a ducky and chocolate...definitely 2 of her favorite things :) We had a wonderful first day!!

DAYS 2 & 3 - SUNDAY & MONDAY - AT SEA

Every day they had a ton of activities on the boat for toddlers, elementary age, middle school age, high school age, college age, and adults only. They cater to everyone. We participated in some of the toddler activities ...Macy loved them. This is Macy waiting for the Playhouse Disney Party to start.

Daddy & Macy doing the "hotdog dance" from the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse TV Show. They had a crew member playing all the popular songs from Playhouse Disney and the kids got to dance to all of them and singalong.

Macy having a blast dancing along.

Daddy explaining to Macy that we are on a big boat in the water :)
Thankfully most of the decks were enclosed with plexiglass so Mommy felt safe with Macy :)

The Princess Gathering in the Lobby Atrium.

Macy's FIRST time to meet her so loved princesses! She was a little unsure at first, but it only took a couple of seconds for her to warm up to them. She asked about them the entire cruise and we went to see them every chance we got :) She still asks about them and if she can go to their house and play :)

I love you Cinderelly! Her FAVORITE princess!

Meeting Belle

and Snow White.

Enjoying Lunch...Macy style :)

Exploring the boat...Travis standing at the aft of the ship.

View from the aft of the ship.

The anchor room.

Daddy, Macy, & Minnie. Characters were in the lobby all the time. They always had a schedule telling you which characters were in the lobby so you could check out your favorites. It was much easier to see characters and get signatures than at the parks.

Dinner at Animator's Palate - The theme was Show Dinner. The restaurant started out as all black and white and then changed to color as dinner progressed. It was my favorite restaurant!

Inside Animator's Palate.

Macy dressed for dinner :)

Macy & Grandma Deb :)

Celebrating Macy's cousins, McKenna's & Hunter's, birthday!

The resturant turning into color as the night went on.

Taking a break between dinner and the show.

Macy & Chip & Dale :) All the characters sat down with her or got on their knees so they were more at her level and didn't frighten her...it was great. Chip & Dale became favorites by the end of the week as well.

My favorite towel animal - the "cool" elephant. We got yummy chocolates and our agenda for the next day every evening before bed. It was so fun to look the agenda every night to plan our next fun day :)
Check back...I'll post the rest of our cruise in a few days!!
