My Sweet Little Girl

I just wanted to share what a sweet little girl I have :)

Macy is so excited to meet her little sister. She loves to kiss my belly and talk to baby sister as she refers to her as. She loves to read books to baby sister with Daddy at night. She always asks me why she can't see her yet. She asks a lot of questions about baby sister...is she hungry, why she can't hear her talking in mommy's belly, why doesn't daddy have a baby in his belly, why does baby sister kick mommy, and a lot more :) We have been talking a lot about baby sister and reading a lot of big sister books to prepare her. This pregnancy has definitely been a lot different than when I was pregnant with Macy. Different meaning much harder. I started having contractions and high blood pressure about two months ago. Due to that, I'm on medicine to control those things to prevent preterm labor. A couple weeks ago my entire right side went numb and after another doctor's appointment I learned that I have a bulging disc in my back that is causing nerve pain on my right side. I was supposed to start physical therapy for that the next Monday, but instead I fell in a water drain while holding Macy and walking to my car. I'm definitely the clumsy preggo lady :) Thankfully, Macy and the baby weren't hurt at all. So, after an ER visit to learn I had a severe sprained ankle I got to go home with a cute boot on my left leg and crutches. Needless to say, this pregnancy has been eventful. But, through it all my sweet little Macy has been such a precious help. When I had my boot and crutches, Macy would always ask me what I needed and how she could help. I'm just so amazed and happy with the sweet little girl she is with so much love.
