Winter Wonderland

On February 11th, we had a fun snow day!!! It started snowing early in the morning and snowed for almost 24 hours!! Macy was just in awe of snow!! Normally, on the way to preschool she talks and talks to me about everything. This morning, she sat so quietly and stared out the window the entire way to preschool. Half way to school, I asked her if she was okay and she told me she was looking at all the pretty snow. Sooo sweet! I wish I would have gotten a picture of her sweet little face looking out the window and admiring the beauty of it all.

Can I go inside? I'm getting pretty grumpy out in this wet and cold stuff, Mommy!

We came home from preschool and played out in the snow until dark!! Macy had sooo much fun!

She measured the snow at 5:30pm and we had almost 6 inches in our backyard. The next morning we had almost 10 inches...so fun! It was the single most snowfall in a 24 hour period in North Texas.

Having a "snowman" fight. She loves to make snowballs and have a snowman fight. I kept telling her it was called a snowball fight. Macy kept telling me, "Mommy, it's called a snowman fight silly." So, we stuck with it :)

Travis built a little hill for Macy to slide down. We got a piece of cardboard for her to use as a sled. North Texas' way of sledding...LOL!

Little Grumpypants now much happier to be inside warm and cozy by the fire :)

We have had a lot of fun this winter in the snow!!
