Playroom Part 1

We have decided to move most of Macy's toys upstairs and create a playroom. She received a lot of toys for Christmas. You can barely walk through our family room. Plus, so many of her toys are big and take up a lot of room so we thought it would be fun to make a playroom where all her toys can go. I wanted to have a theme so I could decorate it a little :) We picked "In the Jungle" theme. I thought that I would be able to go to some local stores and find a couple of jungle things to decorate with. After lots of trips, I couldn't really find anything cute. So, we began to brainstorm what we could do in the room to make it look like a jungle. After Travis has visited Lowe's about 6 or 7 times and I have been to Michael's and JoAnn's about 5 times, we have started on it. It really started out as a simple idea, but has got very complicated. I thought we could finish it in a weekend. We're now on the third weekend and still not finished! I must say though Travis and I are having a lot of fun decorating it! He is busy building something and I have been painting. We work on the weekends and after Macy goes to bed. So, hopefully after this weekend everything will be finished. I will post pictures when it's done. I can't wait to see it all finished! I know Macy (actually her daddy and I) will love it!!

Travis has been living in our garage on the weekends building his part of the jungle

I can't wait to see it when it's finished. I haven't done anything with Lauren's playroom, yet, because I'm waiting on the perfect inspirations! How exciting!!!
