Uh-oh!

Macy has been adding quite a few words to her vocabulary recently. One of her favorite words is "uh-oh!" Sometimes she even drops something on purpose just to say uh-oh. This morning I hear uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh over and over on her monitor. I usually wait about 5 minutes to go get her from when I first hear her in the morning to allow her to wake up completely. If not, I go up to her room and she tells me she doesn't want to get out of her crib. So, I learned that if I wait just a couple of minutes she will be ready to get up for the day. Well, this morning instead of hearing her normally talk to her gaga in her crib, she started in with the uh-oh's right away. So, I ran upstairs. She was sitting in the corner of the crib like always, but saying uh-oh. Something caught my eye on the floor...was it what I thought it was...no, it couldn't be...yes, it was a DIAPER!! I thought to myself no that couldn't be her diaper, but where did it come from? So, I walked over to her and she had unzipped her pj's and her legs were out and her little naked bum was sitting on her sheet without a diaper! I said Macy, what happened? She just kept saying uh-oh, uh-oh! Thankfully, she must have just taken off her diaper and thrown it on the floor because her sheets were not wet. Once I got her a new diaper and dressed, we had a long talk about how we keep diapers on unless we're taking a bath :) She just kept nodding her head and smiling during this talk...so I'm not sure.... I do know that we may have to stop wearing our footie pj's since Doodlebug has mastered unzipping and getting out of them :)
